Job Responsibilities

Core Business Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the company's card payment and card issuing platform using Golang.
  • Participate in the development of key business modules, including card issuing, card accounts, authorization, clearing & settlement, transaction processing, billing, rewards, and benefits systems.

Card Transaction Lifecycle Development

  • Design and implement end-to-end card transaction processing workflows.
  • Develop and maintain critical payment flows, including Authorization, Reversal, Capture, Refund, and Reconciliation.
  • Ensure transaction accuracy, reliability, and consistency throughout the payment lifecycle.

Architecture Design & Optimization

  • Participate in system architecture design and technical solution planning.
  • Contribute to legacy system analysis, migration, and modernization initiatives.
  • Continuously optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability to support mission-critical financial services.

Technical Excellence

  • Identify and resolve system bottlenecks and complex technical challenges.
  • Improve system throughput, response time, and operational stability under high-concurrency environments.
  • Ensure transaction integrity, fund security, and data consistency.

Engineering Quality

  • Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
  • Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering best practices.
  • Develop comprehensive unit tests and integration tests to ensure system reliability and maintainability.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of backend development experience using Golang and/or Java.
  • Hands-on experience in card issuing systems, card payment systems, or card transaction processing platforms is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of cryptocurrency fundamentals; experience in crypto trading, payments, or financial infrastructure is a plus.

Technical Skills

Programming & Computer Science Fundamentals

  • Strong proficiency in Golang and/or Java, with a solid understanding of concurrent programming.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, computer networking, and data structures.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native development concepts.

Databases & Middleware

  • Strong experience with MySQL and SQL performance optimization.
  • Proficient in Redis and caching strategies, including handling cache penetration, cache breakdown, and cache avalanche scenarios.
  • Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems for asynchronous processing and system decoupling.

Distributed Systems

  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers (Protobuf).
  • Familiarity with service governance practices, including service discovery, circuit breaking, rate limiting, and distributed tracing.

Cloud Native & DevOps

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.

AI-Driven Development

  • Proficient in using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar solutions.
  • Able to integrate AI-powered workflows into daily development processes to improve productivity and engineering efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and build high-value AI-assisted development workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building systems for licensed card issuers, acquirers, payment processors, or third-party payment institutions.
  • Familiarity with ISO 8583, ISO 20022 messaging standards, or integration with card networks and issuing partners.
  • Experience with crypto payment infrastructure, crypto cards, fiat on/off-ramp solutions, or digital asset payment systems.
  • Experience building accounting, reconciliation, treasury, or risk-control systems for high-volume financial transactions.
  • Familiarity with PCI-DSS and payment security/compliance standards.
  • Proven experience leading payment system development from scratch (0-to-1) or participating in large-scale core system migration projects.
