About The Role

We’re expanding our Data Science & Analytics team and are looking for a Data Scientist with a strong analytical foundation and business mindset to tackle high-impact problems across operations, pricing, and growth. This role sits at the intersection of data science and analytics, combining rigorous modeling with practical execution.

You will play a key role in optimizing operator assignment, managing FX treasury strategies to improve margins, forecasting core KPIs, and guiding budget allocation decisions. Additionally, you will partner closely with the Growth team to design predictive segmentation and improve campaign performance.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable moving between structured analysis and predictive modeling, and who thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Optimization:
  • Design and implement models to optimize operator assignment, balancing demand, capacity, and efficiency.
  • Identify patterns in operational data to improve service levels and reduce costs.

FX Treasury & Margin Optimization

  • Analyze FX flows and pricing strategies to optimize margins.
  • Build models to support decision-making on spreads, pricing tiers, and risk management.
  • Forecasting & Planning
  • Develop forecasts for key business KPIs (volume, revenue, retention, etc.).
  • Support budget allocation decisions using data-driven insights and scenario modeling.
  • Growth & Marketing Science
  • Partner with Growth to design and implement predictive segmentation.
  • Build models to improve targeting, conversion, and campaign ROI.
  • Analyze experiment results and provide recommendations to scale winning strategies.
  • Analytics & Data Modeling
  • Build and maintain robust SQL-based data models to support analysis and reporting.
  • Develop dashboards and tools to monitor performance and inform stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Growth, Operations, Finance, and Product teams to define problems and deliver actionable insights.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Science role.
  • Degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets.
  • Knowledge of Python for modeling and analysis.
  • Experience with BI tools (Looker/Omni or similar).
  • Solid foundation in forecasting, statistics, and data modeling.
  • Experience applying data to marketing or growth use cases (segmentation, experimentation, campaign optimization).
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to connect data insights to business impact.
  • Excellent communication skills in English — able to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with pricing, FX, or financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and causal inference.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Initial stock options grant
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Health, dental, and vision plans
  • Remote work environment, although we have offices in Miami and México City and would love to work in hybrid model if you are up to it.
  • Continuous learning opportunities
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Paid parental leave
  • Empowering opportunities for growth in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
